About Me

Hi! I am Maximus Cooley (he/him), an artist located in San Diego, CA. With a love of digital illustration, graphic design, and writing, I spend most of my time thinking about modern fantasy and horror. I create art exploring Queer identities, found family, community, psychosis, mental illness, and physical disability.

I have been drawing as long as I can remember, over 2 decades, and have been professionally active for 6 years. It is my goal as an artist to provide the emotionally evocative expression of subjects that are important to me. I want to continue to improve and pursue creation that feeds my drive for living. The ability to support myself with extra income is a bonus, as my personal medical costs are intense and barely covered by my main job.
